Upon relocating to San Francisco I started working on music I deemed 'post surf' (owing much to SF psych-surfers the Mermen & a general infatuation with reverb & standing at the end of the continent). These demos lead to the formation of the band Ventid, which ended up going in more of a math rock/post-hardcore direction, though most of Ventid's first EP came from this material.
